Cold Processed Soap is made by mixing or saponifying lye and oil. The resulting chemical reaction creates the soap. One of the main benefits of cold process soapmaking is having complete control over ingredients. This means you can choose your own oils, you can dilute the soap with different oils and butters, you can make your soap as concentrated as you want and you can adjust the pH of your soap recipe to suit your preference.
