Bulk Berry Wax (500g)

The wax is used to give a soft consistency and lipid-regulating effects to cosmetic products, especially lipsticks, eye pencils, and emulsions, as well as hair care products and decorative cosmetics. It can also be used as a substitute for beeswax. Kahlwax 6290 consists of a high amount of glycerol ester of C16–18 fatty acids. Because a significant part of it melts at temperatures < 30 °C, Kahlwax 6290 feels very silky and soft, comparable to a classic emollient. In addition, Kahlwax 6290 produces very soft textures and significantly improves the sensory characteristics of O/W emulsions.
