Bulk Tapioca Starch Powder
Tapioca Starch comes from the root of the cassava plant. Tapioca flour often provides a glossy final product. It makes a good coating for meat, fish, or other foods before the frying takes place. This helps create a crispy crust or outer layer during the frying process.
Contains magnesium, calcium, manganese, phosphorus, zinc, copper and selenium
High in omega 3 and 6, it reduces bad cholesterol and is low in unsaturated fat, so it’s good for your heart
Full of fibre, it lowers the risk of diabetes and heart disease
Contains folic acid, which is a member of the vitamin B family and so protects cell damage. Some essential oils and fragrance oils can cause clumping, but adding tapioca starch will help the salts stay smooth and keep the fragrance longer. To prevent clumping, add 1/2 cup of modified tapioca starch before adding essential oils. Use 1/2 cup of tapioca starch for every 8 cups of bath salt mixture. To use, add the tapioca starch to the bath salt mixture before adding the essential oils or fragrance oils.
