Customers are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for their intended use before purchasing, especially where products are intended for resale, repackaging, blending, labelling, manufacturing, or onward supply.
4. Product Formulation, Texture and Viscosity Variations
Our products may vary slightly from batch to batch due to raw material availability, seasonal changes, supplier changes, temperature, manufacturing requirements, and global supply chain pressures.
We may make reasonable adjustments to a product’s formulation, colour, scent, texture, thickness, or viscosity where needed for product performance, stability, pumpability, safety, compliance, or raw material availability.
Unless a specific formulation, scent, colour, texture, or viscosity is expressly confirmed by us in writing at the time of purchase, reasonable batch to batch variations will not automatically make a product defective or eligible for return.
Customers purchasing products for resale, repackaging, blending, labelling, or manufacturing are responsible for testing each batch before use or onward sale.
Opened, used, decanted, altered, repackaged, blended, relabelled, or onward supplied products may not be returned for a discretionary refund or credit.
If a product is found to be defective, unsafe, materially different from its product description at the time of purchase, or unsuitable for a purpose expressly communicated to and accepted by us before purchase, we will assess the matter and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with our obligations under applicable law.
5. Product Use, Testing and Suitability
Our products may include finished body care products, bases, raw materials, ingredients, fragrances, packaging, and related goods.
Customers must read product descriptions, ingredient information, labels, warnings, and usage guidance before use. Where appropriate, we recommend patch testing products before wider use.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Information provided on our website, blog, product pages, emails, or social media is for general information only and should not be treated as medical, dermatological, pharmaceutical, or professional formulation advice.
Customers using our products for resale, repackaging, blending, private labelling, product development, manufacturing, spa use, salon use, or onward supply are responsible for:
- testing the product for their intended use;
- ensuring correct storage and handling;
- complying with any labelling, ingredient, safety, regulatory, or industry requirements applicable to their own business;
- ensuring that any claims made to their own customers are lawful and accurate; and
- ensuring that their finished or repackaged products are suitable and safe for onward sale.
6. Orders
An order is placed when you complete checkout on our website. Order processing will begin once we have received your order and confirmed payment.
We reserve the right to accept, reject, cancel, or limit any order where:
- stock is unavailable;
- there is a pricing, product, or website error;
- payment has not been received or verified;
- delivery information is incomplete or incorrect;
- we suspect fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity;
- the order is unusually large or commercially impractical to fulfil; or
- circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.
If we are unable to fulfil an order after payment has been received, we will contact you with available options, which may include substitution, store credit, refund, partial fulfilment, or cancellation.
7. Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to update pricing, promotions, discounts, product availability, and delivery charges at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at checkout at the time you place the order, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Promotional codes, discounts, free delivery thresholds, and special offers may be subject to additional terms, expiry dates, exclusions, or minimum order values.
8. Payment
Orders must be paid in full before they are processed, packed, or dispatched unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Payment options available at checkout may change from time to time. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details are correct and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
We will not be liable for delays caused by failed, delayed, reversed, flagged, or unverified payments.
9. Delivery
Delivery options, courier fees, estimated delivery times, and free delivery thresholds are set out on our website and may change from time to time.
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, stock availability, load shedding, severe weather, strikes, road closures, unrest, hijacking, pandemics, supplier delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, contact number, and any special delivery instructions. We will not be liable for delays, failed deliveries, additional courier charges, or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by you.
Delivery may be accepted by any person present at the nominated delivery address. Proof of delivery from the courier will be treated as evidence that the order was delivered to the address provided.
10. Collection
Where collection is available, orders may only be collected once we have confirmed that the order is ready.
Customers must collect during our stated collection or business hours and may be required to provide an order number or proof of purchase. Orders not collected within a reasonable time may be cancelled, returned to stock, or subject to storage or re processing arrangements at our discretion.
11. Damaged, Leaking, Missing or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered or collected.
If an item is damaged, leaking, missing, or incorrectly supplied, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos where relevant, and a description of the issue.
Where we confirm that an error occurred or goods were damaged in transit, we will assess the matter and determine the appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, collection, credit, refund, or another suitable resolution.
Items must not be used, decanted, repackaged, relabelled, blended, altered, or supplied onward before the issue has been reported and assessed.
12. Returns, Refunds and Credits
Returns, refunds, and credits are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy published on our website.
For discretionary returns or “change of heart” returns, products must be returned in their original, unopened packaging, unused, unmodified, and suitable for resale. Shipping costs are generally not refundable for discretionary returns.
Opened, used, decanted, altered, repackaged, blended, relabelled, damaged, contaminated, or onward supplied products may not be accepted for discretionary return.
Where a return is requested due to an alleged defect, safety issue, incorrect supply, or material difference from the product description at the time of purchase, we may require photos, batch details, product samples, inspection, or return of the remaining goods before determining the appropriate remedy.
13. Cancellations
You may request cancellation of an order before it has been packed, dispatched, manufactured, prepared, or specially ordered.
Once an order has been processed, packed, dispatched, collected, specially prepared, or manufactured, cancellation may not be possible or may be subject to reasonable handling, courier, or processing costs.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where stock is unavailable, payment fails, a pricing error occurs, fraud is suspected, or fulfilment is not reasonably possible.
14. Stock Availability
All products are subject to availability. We make reasonable efforts to keep stock information accurate, but stock errors, shortages, supplier delays, discontinuations, or manufacturing delays may occur.
If a product is unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you with available options, which may include waiting for stock, substituting the product, receiving store credit, receiving a refund, or cancelling the affected item.
15. Account Information
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for all activity under your account.
You must ensure that your account details, billing details, delivery address, contact information, and business information are accurate and up to date.
We may suspend or close accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, duplicate misuse, unlawful activity, non payment, or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
16. Resale, Repackaging and Private Use by Businesses
Many of our customers purchase products for resale, repackaging, blending, use in treatments, use in salons or spas, private labelling, manufacturing, or onward supply.
Where you purchase for these purposes, you acknowledge that you are responsible for testing, assessing, storing, handling, labelling, marketing, and supplying the goods appropriately for your own business and customers.
Bulk Body Care is not responsible for claims, losses, refunds, complaints, labelling issues, formulation decisions, resale losses, reputation damage, or customer disputes arising from your resale, repackaging, blending, alteration, storage, or onward supply of products, except where required by applicable law.
17. Storage and Handling
Products must be stored and handled according to any instructions provided on the product page, label, packaging, or accompanying documentation.
Unless otherwise stated, products should generally be stored sealed, away from excessive heat, direct sunlight, moisture, contamination, and children or pets.
We will not be responsible for deterioration, contamination, separation, leakage, fragrance changes, colour changes, texture changes, or performance issues caused by incorrect storage, handling, decanting, blending, repackaging, exposure to heat, or use after opening.
18. Allergies, Sensitivities and Ingredient Information
Customers are responsible for checking ingredient information before purchasing or using a product.
Natural, fragranced, cosmetic, personal care, and raw material products may cause sensitivity or allergic reactions in some individuals. We recommend appropriate testing before use, particularly for customers with sensitive skin, allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, young children, or specialist skincare concerns.
Please discontinue use immediately if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs and seek professional advice where necessary.

We will not be liable for delays, non performance, stock shortages, delivery issues, or failure to fulfil obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This may include supplier shortages, raw material shortages, global supply chain disruption, manufacturing delays, courier delays, strikes, unrest, hijacking, load shedding, power failures, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government action, regulatory changes, system failures, or other events outside our reasonable control.
