Bulk Body Care shea butter refined is perfect for all your healthy skin needs. Due to its high concentration of vitamin E, shea butter is a potent skin lightener. It can be used in lotion, cream or on your face, hair and body. I would recommend that you use between 10-12% in your cold process soap recipe.

• Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Refined Shea Butter

Basic Cold Process Soap Recipe:

Ingredients:

• 500g olive oil
• 200g coconut oil
• 100g shea butter
• 100g cocoa butter
• 135g lye (sodium hydroxide)
• 300g water

Instructions:

1. Follow safety precautions and prepare your workspace.
2. Weigh the oils and fats and melt them together.
3. Let the oils and fats cool down +- 37 degree Celsius
4. Dissolve the lye in water.
5. Let the lye solution cool down +- 37 degree Celsius
6. Then mix the lye solution with the melted oils and fats.
7. Blend until the mixture reaches trace (honey consistency)
8. Pour the soap into molds.
9. Allow the soap to cure for 4-6 weeks.
