Our activated charcoal products are specially formulated with the powder from Macadamia nut shells, a by-product of South African Macadamia nut production. Activated carbon is a natural material rich in carbon and transformed via the steam activation process, that increases the surface area of the carbon. Activated carbon is characterized by its high porosity and adsorptive capabilities. Through adsorption, activated carbon can effectively remove a range of contaminants and impurities from liquid and air streams.
