D Panthenol, also known as Provitamin B5, is a powerful moisturiser, humectant, and softener. It’s often used in formulas to enhance the appearance of your skin by adding hydration, reducing water loss, and improving elasticity and softness. The recommended usage rate in conditioners, shampoos, washes, and body lotions is 1 – 5% in the water phase.
