As an emulsifying agent, Polysorbate 80 food grade can improve the efficacy of other ingredients when combined with cetyl alcohol or sorbitan stearate. It also acts as a dispersing agent and anti-static thickener, making it a valuable addition to our formulations. One of the most significant benefits of Polysorbate 80 is its ability to solubilise essential oils. This means that it can help blend essential oils with water-based products, such as lotions or body washes, allowing for a more even distribution of the oils on the skin.
